Color your Lashes

  I didn’t know there were so many different colors you could color your lashes! I knew about black and brown. Then I saw Carmen Electra with some weird color lashes and thought…”hmm, that’s kinda cool, wonder how she did it”. There are vast array of colors and brands you can buy to make your lashes just about any color you like. I guess, you can now match your lashes to your outfit .

     This is the ultimate must have for the all night partier or club scene type or just someone who wants to make a statement!! Wouldn’t it be great if they came glow in the dark, or in black light (really cool). It’s a fun and unexpected change. You can go from blahto WOW in a matter of swipes, seriously. Colors range from blue to fiery red. You can also go more subtle with auburn’s or cinnamon. I initially saw Max Factor’s highlighting mascara, Vivid Impact Highlighting Mascara, and was blown away by the way it makes your lashes look. I thought it would just put a hint of color on your lashes…no it really COLORS them. You can also find this item with Maybelline, MAC, Avon or a thousand other brands. Just start looking around for them, you’ll be amazed,I was!

Did you sport the old jelly shoe? I know I did, and with pride until I realized how cheap and nasty they were becoming. I think, no I know, my sis first brought the realization of how much I disliked them to mind. She wore these braided clear jellies, yeah you remember those. But they were worn over and dirty, remember that look, not nice at all! So I made up my mind, I would never wear them again…..until, I saw the new jelly. The new jellies are, I hate to say this, GORGEOUS! I am impressed.

     They are sleek, sophisticated and versatile. Now in many different styles and colors, I can see myself owning a pair . Big designers, such as Gucci, Fendi, and Marc Jacobs, are jumping on the jelly bandwagon. Ranging in price from 40-hundreds of dollars, they certainly have come a long way.

Pearls of Wisdom

I, like most women, love jewelry. With the internet so readily available and so full of information, I do a little “bargain hunting” when it comes to anything I buy. So, when I found a site, pearl-necklace-jewelry.com, that put together two things I liked, I had to check it out. This site sells inexpensive, not cheap, Pearl necklace and jewelry. The site confidently advertises that it sells “Genuine Pearls at Wholesale Price”, good selling point mentioning the wholesale price! A handy link on the site is the “Most Popular” link, it will take you to the most popular pearl jewelry they offer. I have a hard time buying jewelry at times, because I am so overwhelmed by the amount of jewelry on a site that I usually won’t buy anything, or I buy too much and regret it later….regret the money spent not the jewelry, of course . I love when a site offers the most popular, especially when they are not just throwing their most expensive in a spot and saying it is the most popular.

The pearl site has many features I like, it has an ask the experts, an under $100 section, and they offer an immediate 5% discount for signing up for their club. First, let me just say, when I first got to the site first thing I clicked on was the “under $100”, I am all for a bargain. I expected to find maybe a small pearl ring or two, but they have Freshwater pearl necklace (in various colors), bracelets, and earrings all separately cost under $100. A great place to purchase a gift for someone, I love the Grey Freshwater Pearl Earrings . The company itself sells an assortment of Cultured pearl necklace.

All in all, I like pearl-necklace-jewelry.com. The only thing that is a little bugging is that their links for “The Pearl Savy Buyers Club” and Expert Advise doesn’t work. I will check back later on those. As for pearls, I usually put no thought into the actual quality, I am a “go for the looks” kinda girl. But after surfing the net, this is a nice place to get quality pearls for yourself and as gifts.
